The Tourist Police train embassy officials as volunteers to support government policies to enhance confidence in Thailand's tourism security.

Following the policies of Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and Minister Sermsak Pongpanit, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports on developing collaboration networks with foreign embassies in Thailand to bolster confidence in Thai tourism security, supporting Q4 tourism stimulation, enhancing the potential of 55 tourism-promising provinces, and promoting Soft Power.


July 5th, 2024, Pol. Lt. Gen. Saksira Pheuak-um, Tourist Police Commissioner, chaired the Tourist Police volunteer training, supported by 21 embassies, sending 35 officers to participate in knowledge transfer sessions covering Thai tourism policy standards and safety measures, as well as, effective collaboration strategies with Tourist Police including joint public relations efforts for tourist safety, coordinated emergency response for tourists, and combating tourism-damaging fake news. Together, these efforts aim to enhance Thailand's tourism image and ensure travelers' convenience and confidence.
